Caledon Regeneration
Project - O'Neill Society
Gary Mac's task of designing an outdoor historical tourist board for the Caledon Regeneration Project, in partnership with the O'Neill Society, merges heritage preservation with artistic flair. Using Meno Display and CapitoliumNews typefaces, Gary seamlessly blends information and aesthetics, aiming to immerse visitors in the rich history of Caledon.
Through meticulous research by the O'Neill Country Historical Society, an artist's impression of the O'Neill's castle, situated on the crannog of the former Drummoragh lake, is incorporated, despite its demise in the 19th century. This design invites visitors to envision the castle's grandeur, fostering a deeper connection to Caledon's cultural tapestry and ensuring its legacy endures as an immersive experience.
